small world Hmm well. Imcb attachment rocked. I sound like I study a lot. … Anyway yes, fun getting to know the people there haha. Having lunch with scgs on the last day, walking around getting lost and forgetting to press buttons etc, getting confused over calculations, having vadim (sp?) teach us, etcetc. Just the thought of being there is great. Haha. And all the staining and looking at cells that are.. fluorescent. That was like cool haha. Hmmm last day, mostly spent viewing our cells I think. Our bench got to do it first, quite nice to have only 4 of us in the room, as compared to later on. So many people were in there, and we kept talking and laughing. Well, I did too. Haha. oh yeah we did staining again, but it well well and fast. of course, thanks to vadim our russian guy haha. X) it's a satifying feeling to see the slides under the.. er.. confocal microscope? okay i cant rmb. nice and green and red and whoosh. hmmm we gave vadim a card.. haha quite paiseh about it, I dunno why. Some point along the day sanny told me her rj partner was from co. ended up asking when we were waiting to look at cells. Haha hmmm. Anw both of them from hu. Ah. As usual our bench dint talk a lot. Well I thought we didn’t haha. Usually it’s the middle 2. Woops haha. Towards the end of the day ended up talking to the rj guy about co stuff. Haha weird, cause previously we didn’t exactly talk to the rj ppl. Well maybe except jibo. Oh yah. Met jibo on Tuesday. Went down to j8 with reb after cny celebrations, looked around and then we went to meet my cousin. Was waiting with 2 of them to try on something in 77th street, then saw him getting a cap haha. After that saw him in u2 again. And noticed smth funny, which only the 3 of us know haha. (: Guess the world really is small. And kp -the rj guy, turns out to be wanchee’s brother. Nice. So anyway. Happy cny (: Was stoning away at home on the first day, when this movie came on. Hmm. Shou zu qing shen. Very.. sad show. I dunno, touching. About 3 siblings. But ouch, what a high price to pay to get back together. Though it was worth it. not nice to make people cry on cny. Didn’t really do anything constructive for the past two days. So much has changed; I guess it just really isn’t the same anymore. never was from that day, never will be anytime from now. never. But hmmm, going to da yi’s house tmr. At least I get to see everyone then. Wonder how it’ll be like. And hmm. I want the imcb photos.. |
